A unique, unusual cross-section table.
Made from a large, 3” thick, cross section of British Elm….very rare!
The Wood has been seasoned for years and is extraordinarily hard with a wonderful patina.
As with most cross sections the Wood has an open split from the middle ring out (caused by the drying process), this has been stapled with 3 bow-tie joints made from Chestnut and infilled with dark grey tinted epoxy resin.
Finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil, (see care guide for maintenance instructions).
The base is an asymmetric shape made from 2 x 1” box steel with a lacquered finish.
