Why we collect personal information...
We collect your information to fulfil your orders, from the initial enquiry or purchase online to completion and dispatch. We also collect some customer data to make improvement to our website and future products.

Here are a few examples of when we collect your information and how we may use it.
During the initial order process, we will ask you for various pieces of information such as your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address to be able to place an order with us.
We may also discuss personal information over the phone when paying invoices.
Your address details may be used and passed onto our couriers depending on your location. Customers will be advised prior to delivery who their courier is, and provided with their details.
We use Google Analytics to collect data showing how visitors are using the Ian Wood Design website. This information is used to improve our site and future products.
When we disclose your information...
We will not sell or rent your contact information to any other company at any time.
We do however pass on your address and contact information to our trusted couriers when delivering Ian Wood Design orders and occasionally onto other makers when ordering made to order homeware items.
We do ask that all third party companies are inline with current GDPR legislation.

We will take all the necessary precautions including administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your personal information.
How long your information be kept for...
Once you have ordered from Ian Wood Design we will keep certain information on file; name, address, order details, contact details, for up to 6 years. This is for the purpose of accounting, and for ease of reordering in the future.

Payments...
All card payments are processed through trusted and protected payment terminals. We use Stripe (on the Ian Wood Design website) and Paypal.
